what we do
Plastisol inks are the most commonly used inks for printing onto garments, and are particularly useful for printing opaque graphics on dark fabrics. Plastisol inks are not water-soluble, although there are different additives to mix into the inks to create a softer print.
We use One Stroke Inks exclusively. Check them out!
Discharge ink is a water based product that is formulated to deactivate the dyes used on natural fabrics and basically bleaches the fabric back to its natural "off white" color when mixed with an activator. To add color to discharge printing, we use water based pigments to mix in with the clear discharge base. This particular print method leaves your shirt feeling like there is nothing printed on it at all.....because instead of sitting on top of the shirt, like plastisol inks, discharge printing becomes part of the shirt. This method works best on 100% cotton shirts, and most 50/50 blends, with the exception of kelly green, purple and royal blue families which become more of a muted print having a lighter tint to the base fabric color in some cases. Please contact us for more information on discharge printing to see if this would work well for your next project.
direct to garment (dtg) PRINTING
DTG printing is the process of printing onto garments and textiles using ink jet technology.......running garments through a large computer printer.
This process is great when printing very small orders or even one-offs and especially using designs that are full color and photo-realistic. We use this method frequently for print-on-demand services and small batch orders. Direct To Garment refers to the inks being printed without the use of screens and the inks used are directly absorbed into the fibers of the garment.

Setting up your brand with custom labeling is an important decision, as it adds the final touches with what you want to relay to your end customer. Whether it is sew-in tags, cuff tags, etc., the LLP team is here to help move your merch forward and help you build your brand so you can focus on the big picture.
Tag printing is when the manufacturer's branded tags are removed from the garments, and a custom printed tag replaces it. In some cases, the tags made to tear away, and sometimes we will have to cut eat tag prior to printing. This method works best when using minimal artwork and lower mesh counts on screens. Also keep in mind that when screen printing tags on white or lighter color garments, you will run the risk of the ink showing through the back.
Special handling refers to when we take care of your merch post production such as hang tagging, poly bagging and sticker labeling. If you need your items properly sorted, folded, labeled and bagged to meet retail standards OR if you simply want to ship your items to your end customer in a nice branded bag or box, we got you covered!
